Wander the streets of this fishing town past a quaint wooden chapel and historic monuments , and stop for a beer at a charming café . Visit the Kamchatka Museum , overlooking the bay , where dioramas of nomadic herders , old cannonballs and other artifacts will take you back in time . Or explore ancient geological relics at the Museum of Volcanoes

TENDERING INFORMATION
Russian Immigration will stamp the passports and distribute them based on Norwegian Shore Excursions departures . As per Russian Immigration , independent guests will be processed only after the guests on Norwegian Shore Excursions are dispatched . Passport distribution will begin after 9 : 30a . Please refer to the approximate timing of passport distribution per the flyer already delivered to your stateroom . As per Russian Authorities , guests without a Russian visa cannot go further than Kamchatka City . All guests must carry their passports when going ashore , and will have them collected at the gangway upon their final return . Guests who do not wish to go ashore today do not need to collect passports .
We will anchor and use tenders to transport quests from the ship to shore during our stay in Petropavlovsk . For crowd control purposes , we will be issuing tender tickets on a first come , first serve basis to ensure fairness and safety . For our independent quests you may collect your tender tickets from the Photo Gallery on Deck 7 . Aft ; only after you have received your stamped passport and you are ready to go . Guest traveling ashore independently will be required to have tender tickets , regardless of Latitude status
Kindly wait comfortably in any public lounge on deck 7 or above , or inside your stateroom for announcements ( via TV Channel 23 ) until your tender ticket number is called over the PA system . Once your tender ticket number has been called , please proceed to the Crystal Atrium , Deck 7 , Midship and follow the instructions given by the directional staff .
When the " Open Tender " announcement is made , then tender tickets are no longer required .
ARRIVAL INFORMATION The ship must be cleared by local officials upon arrival . Guests on a Norwegian Shore Excursion please check your ticket for the meeting time & location . Please take your Norwegian Jewel Freestyle keycard and your stamped passport when going ashore . Due to public health regulations food of any kind ( hot , raw or unpacked / packed ) will not be allowed to be brought on board or taken off the ship at any time . Water bottles are allowed to be taken ashore , however no beverage will be allowed to be brought onboard ,

MOBILITY AIDS INFORMATION Guests with limited mobility aids such as walkers and wheelchairs must be able to walk down approx . 15 stairs to the tender platform . If you are completely confined to a mobility device , the crew can assist with the following provisions : • Each crew member has a weight limit of 25 pounds that they are allowed to lift • Transportation of motorized or un - collapsible wheelchairs or scooters are not allowed in our tender for safety reasons . • The weight of the mobility device and the guest combined cannot exceed 100 pounds ( to have the assistance of 4 crew members ) .
