To help you get off to the best possible start of your vacation , we have prepared this guide for your first steps on board :

Compulsory safety Drill for all Guests
MARSEILLE
Your cabin will be ready at approxi mately 13 : 00 We invite you to take this opportunity to explore the ship .
Visit our " Welcome Aboard " buffet Located at the main buffet on Deck 8
A compulsory safety drill is performed for embarking Guests . This mandatory safety exercise is done at the be ginning of each cruise with the assistance of the MSC crew who will guide all Guests in order to ensure you are famil iar with what to do and where to go in the unlikely event of an emergency : If you cannot attend , please contact the Reception - Guest Service ( dial 99 ) , for assistance . For time and location of the drill , please check the Daily Program or the MSC for Me app . In case of a real emergen cy , you will hear the emergency signal ( seven short blasts followed by one long blast of the ship ' s alarm ) , proceed to your assigned Assembly Station . More instructions can be found on the safety video available on your cabin ' s Interac tive TV and on the back of your cabin door .

Connect your mobile device to MSC SEAVIEW - HOTSPOT WiFi network Go to www . mscwifi . com , and download the MSC for Me app for free .
Your Cruise Card is your personal ID card , your cabin key and your " Cruise Credit Card " during your holiday . You may also use an MSC for Me wristband * * . Remember to register your credit card or make a direct deposit with your debit card on board within 48 hours after your embarkation at any of the Cruise Card Activation Points . You may also make a cash deposit at Reception - Guest Service . Your Cruise Card is already activated to make purchases up to 300 Euros
NB : show your Cruise Card to security personnel at the gangway when you go ashore or return to the ship . * Find your Experience on your e - ticket , Booking Information section . * * The MSC for Me wristband is a bracelet fitted with NFC technology available on payment for Bella and Fantastica Guests ( 5 EUROS ) .

Satellite Internet Connection allows Guests to stay in touch with friends and family and share your vacation experience while onboard . A variety of packages are available to help Guests stay as connected as they would like .
Your dining information is displayed on your Cruise Card . If you have any inquiry , please visit the Dining info point , at the Silver Dolphin Restaurant , deck 6 From 13 : 30 - 16 : 00 Discover more about our great - value drinks packages .
For detailed information on the available packages , once on board , activate the Wifi on your device connect to MSCSEAVIEW - HOTSPOT , go to your browser and on the top write : www . mscwifi . com . After creating an account with the Internet ID that you will find on your Cruise Card you may purchase your package and get started
Speciality restaurants and Prepaid packages
If you have purchased a Speciality Restaurant package , please remember to reserve your table ( s ) as soon as possi ble by using the MSC for Me app , dialing 6117 or going di rectly to the restaurant ( s ) at opening time .
Book your shows
In order to enjoy the evening shows at the theatre , re member to book your seat in advance . You can do this easily on your cabin ' s Interactive TV , on the touch screens around the ship , on the MSC for Me app , or by asking at the Reception - Guest Service . NB : Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of the show . If you are dining at the first sitting , we recommend you book the later show .
Luggage delivery to your cabin
Due to the large amount of luggage being handled on embarkation day , please be advised that the delivery of your baggage may last up until late this evening . If you have not received your luggage by 17 : 00 or if a piece of luggage not belonging to you was delivered to your cabin , please contact to Reception - Guest Service , located on deck 5 , or dial 99 .

Smoking ( including e - cigarettes ) is not permitted in cabins , on balconies , and in any area not designated by appropriate signage and ashtrays . If evidence of smoking is found , a supplementary cleaning fee of € 250 will be added to your account .
